purple roller, a bird I've never seen

 

Sumac tannin blankets for dyeing. They made my color panels to combine with pure white linen. Little plants placed under the blankets were dried but still showed hints of colors or only marked their place.

Old ragged walls - dirty greyish mauve and dirty darkish blues.

Handstitching merged layers.
